About
About ConserValue
A permanent, public record of one investor’s work.
What this is
One investor’s record, kept in the open
ConserValue is an independent equity research publication. I am a private investor based in the Netherlands, and this is where I publish the work behind my own portfolio: full analyses of the companies I study, the occasional memorandum on method, and a letter each year on how the holdings did and what I got right and wrong.
It began in 2021 as a way of documenting a personal journey of investment — living it, learning from it, and writing it down. The aim is a track record published openly, year after year, that I can look back on one day and that anyone can check.
Free
No paywall, no tiers, nothing to subscribe to. Every piece can be downloaded and kept.
Permanent
Nothing is taken down. What was published stays published, including the calls that went wrong.
Unhurried
No schedule. A piece appears when the work behind it is finished, and not before.
The name joins conservar — to preserve — with value.
Why it exists
Mostly so that it exists. I want to be old one day and look back at a track record kept in the open across the years, including the parts that did not work. A record only counts if it was published before the outcome was known.
Where it lives
ConserValue began on Substack, where it still lives, and it is also on X.
What this is not
Advice. I am not a licensed financial adviser, I do not manage anyone else’s money, and nothing here is tailored to your circumstances. Treat it as one investor’s reasoning, shown in full so that you can disagree with it.
